— Leon Thomas in concert, 8:30 p.m., at Eisenhower Auditorium, Penn State campus. Thomas will be performing songs from his newest album, “Mutt.” Tickets at 814-863-0255 or in person at the auditorium weekdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
WEDNESDAY
— LHHS and ICHS Class of 1955 will meet for lunch at noon at Haywoods in Mill Hall.
— Schenck’s Cemetery annual meeting at 10 a.m. at Howard United Methodist Church. All lot owners and those interested in the cemetery well being are invited to attend. Cemetery clean-up will be in early April. Decorations should be removed before April 6 if you want to keep them.

THURSDAY
— The Pennsylvania State Police in collaboration with the Commonwealth University-Lock Haven University Police, will host a helicopter landing on the CU-Lock Haven campus on Thursday, March 27, at noon, in parking area 8, upper lot behind the Zimmerli Gymnasium.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will offer a unique presentation about the work of the PSP aviation unit and provide an opportunity to learn about their operations and the essential role it plays in law enforcement and public safety. The helicopter landing will also offer a firsthand look at the state-of-the-art technology and capabilities used in the PSP aerial operations.

— Milesburg Lions Club Bingo at the community center, 6:45 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.
— State Representative Paul Takac will hold five listening sessions to hear directly from the community on the impact of closing SCI Rockview and the Quehanna Boot Camp. Takac will host these forums to gain input from area residents on precisely how they will be impacted so he may better tell their stories to the Shapiro administration. Takac wants to hear directly from those who would be affected by a shutdown of one or both of these facilities. The second forum will be held from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Howard United Methodist Church, 144 W. Main St., Howard.

FRIDAY
— Beech Creek American Legion Post 623 invites all Vietnam Veterans to the post for Hot Sausages and Beverages from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is Post 623’s way of honoring the service and sacrifice of veterans who served during the Vietnam War.
— Friday Night Lenton Fish Fries at St. John’s Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte, will be held each Friday during Lent, from March 28 through April 11, from 4-7 p.m. Eat in or Take Out; CASH ONLY. The cost is only $14 for adults; $7 for children under 12 and under 6 eat for free. Come experience Centre County’s largest Fish Fry, prepared and served by the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus and Catholic Daughters of the America’s.

SATURDAY
— Elizabeth Brady, has written a book, “Oil for Your Lantern: Sharing Light after the Death of a Child,” which details her grief journey after losing her son, Mack, just shy of his ninth birthday, and how her faith guided her. Elizabeth, who is an associate teaching professor at Penn State, will visit St. Mark Lutheran Church, 850 Snydertown Road, Howard, to talk about her experiences and her book. The event begins at 11 a.m. and will include a time for questions and answers. Brady will also be signing books.Books will be available to purchase at the event for $15, while supplies last.
— Clinton County Veterans Affairs and KBR Bingo and More invites Clinton County Vietnam Veterans and a guest to a luncheon served from 2-4 p.m. RSVP before March 18 to 570-893-4339.
