Farm Bureau delivers donations to Ronald McDonald House

Clinton County Farm Bureau Coordinator Bonnie Beck delivered $2,550 in money, food, paper products and can tabs to the Danville Ronald McDonald House on March 11.

The farm bureau thanks the following individuals and organizations for donating to the fundraiser: Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren, Mt. Pleasant Bible Church, Lamar United Methodist Church, Ruth Berry, Clinton County Stockman 4-H Club, Clinton County Farm Bureau, Sugar Valley Ag 4-H Club, John and Sue Dotterer, Albright and Trinity United Methodist, Adam and Connie Waltz, Kent and Coreena Meyer, Sugar Valley Wesleyan Church and Sugar Valley Rural Charter School FFA.

The total delivered at the “Farmers Care Event” was $22,302 by the nine surrounding counties. This was the 27th anniversary between Farm Bureau Women and Ronald McDonald houses across Pennsylvania.

Beck sent a special thanks out to driver Steve Wynn and Jim Harbach, who donated the use of a truck to transport the paper and food donations from the Clinton County Farm Bureau.

More thank yous were extended to Ang and Lane Harbach and Riley Kaluzny for loading the truck and the Danville FFA, Millville FFA, Warrior Run FFA, Central Columbia FFA and Southern Columbia FFA students for unloading all the trucks.
