On Thursday, students at Liberty-Curtin Elementary were able to harvest their first salad greens from their Tower Garden. Students were excited to try the lettuce that they have been patiently watching grow for the past few weeks. Everyone said the greens were delicious and a few students even said this was the first time they had tried lettuce. The students and staff at the elementary school are abundantly grateful to the Keystone Central Foundation and the PP&L community grant for providing this experience for their students.
