LOCK HAVEN — Looking to help ensure great shows and entertainment throughout the year at Millbrook Playhouse?

The playhouse will be holding a Cash Bingo fundraiser on Sunday, March 23 at KBR Bingo Hall, 1 Piper Way, Lock Haven. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. with games beginning at 1 p.m.

The event will feature 20 games ranging in value from $30 to $250 along with rip tickets, 50/50 raffle baskets and extra game cards available for purchase.

You can come hungry, too, as food and drinks will be available to purchase throughout the event.

Tickets can be purchased from any Millbrook Playhouse board member, calling the box office at 570-748-8083, online at www.millbrookplayhouse.org or at It Is What It Is in downtown Lock Haven. Everyone must have a ticket to play and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Proceeds from the event offset the costs for producing shows for Millbrook’s 62nd season.

“Ticket sales do not cover the full costs of production so we are always looking for ways to raise funds. ‘Rights’ to the shows can cost in the tens of thousands of dollars,” a release from the board said.
