Tire Collection Event

Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority will be holding a Tire Collection Event on Saturday, May 3. Centre County residents can drop off up to 12 tires free of charge for recycling. Registration is required for a drop off time and can be done on the authority’s website at www.centrecountyrecycles.org.

Moments series

Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church will conclude their Holy Moments in History series on Wednesday, May 7. Retired history teacher Mike Palischak leads the program. Mike has chosen Teddy Roosevelt as his topic of historical individuals who influenced our country through their faith. Come learn all about Teddy Roosevelt at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary and then stay for coffee/tea and fellowship afterwards. Bald Eagle UP Church is located at 111 Main St., Mill Hall, with plenty of free parking to the rear of the church.
