LEMONT — The featured group for the Friday, July 11, concert at the Lemont Village Green features Porch Party, with Liz Lasher on vocals, keyboard and harmonica; Mickey Tomasetti on vocals and percussion; Michelle Katz on vocals, guitar and banjitar; Tom Mallouk on vocals, lead guitar and bass and Randy Doughty on bass.

The Lemont Village Association’s summer concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and usually last until around 9 p.m. Jim Thorn, the sound pro, provides his technical expertise to ensure every concert is top-notch.

If there is light rain, the concert is on, bring your rain gear. If there is thunder and lightning, the concert gets moved to the Granary. If it’s looking like rain, just check the website, www.lemontvillage.org, after 5 p.m. on Friday to see where the concert will be held.

The concerts are free and open to the public. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to relax for the evening. Picnics are welcomed as well.

Please consider getting an ice cream cone from the Troop 367 Scouts. Beginning at 7 p.m. the scouts will be providing the cones and the cost is whatever donation you would give to help the troop.
