Flags at Half Staff

For those unaware, flags are currently at Half Staff from now until Nov. 20, 2025, in honor of former Vice President Dick Cheney’s passing on Nov. 3, 2025. Cheney’s funeral is scheduled for Nov. 20 at Washington National Cathedral, Washington, DC.

Leaf Collection

Woodward Township will collect leaves only on Mondays and Fridays through Nov. 24. Residents should rake their piles of leaves to the curb or front yard, keeping away from mailboxes and other items. Do not bag leaves or put leaves into the street.
