Seventh grade science teacher, Mrs. Nyman and her student teacher, Mr. McLeroy, took their students to the wetlands outside of the school building.

“It allowed students partake in discovery and build observation,” Mr. McLeroy stated.

Most students thoroughly enjoyed the wetlands. “I loved it! It was neat to see all the living organisms,” Jocelyn Sproat said. Most students were invested in inspecting all living things.

There are some downfalls to the wetlands. Paige Confer said, “It was extremely dirty and wet with bugs swarming the waters.”

Mrs. Nyman gives students this experience so they can look at the world in a different way.
