STATE COLLEGE — South Hills School of Business & Technology will be holding a free Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) Information on Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the college’s DMS facility at 3081 Enterprise Drive, in CATO Park.

South Hills’ DMS program prepares individuals to work closely with radiologists, cardiologists, and other medical professionals.

The DMS Information Session gives interested parties the opportunity to learn more about the program and its rewarding career opportunities.

Instructors will give tours of the sonography lab where students receive comprehensive hands-on training, and they will review the requirements of the program curriculum, which includes a six-month internship within a medical venue.

Information about three specialty areas, cardiac, vascular, and general sonography, will be covered.
