Rick Slebodnik is Mt. Nittany VP of ancillary services
STATE COLLEGE –Mount Nittany Health has announced that Rick Slebodnik, BSN, RN, has been selected as vice president of ancillary services for the organization. Employed with the health system for a total of 18 years, Slebodnik began working at Mount Nittany Medical Center as a staff nurse in its critical care unit in 1999.
Slebodnik earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. He has held a number of leadership positions with the health system in both critical care and nursing administration, most recently serving as the administrative director of imaging services.
“I am thrilled to be taking on this new role of vice president of ancillary services for Mount Nittany Health,” shares Slebodnik. “I see this opportunity, in particular, as a chance to positively impact healthcare in our region for years and decades to come.”
In his new role, Slebodnik will be responsible for hospital-based outpatient departments, including radiation oncology at the Lance and Ellen Shaner Cancer Pavilion, Center for Wound Care, Breast Care Center, Pain Management Center, Diabetes Foot Clinic, and the sleep lab at the Sieg Neuroscience Center. He will also oversee all lab and imaging services, and the orthotics, pharmacy, cardiology lab, cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab, cardiac rehab and rehab services departments.

Outside of the office, Slebodnik enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys taking in a round of golf when he can, a game which his youngest daughter recently took up, as well.
