Xenia Kugler joins Internal Medicine group
STATE COLLEGE — Xenia Kugler, CRNP, has joined the Mount Nittany Physician Group Internal Medicine at its Mount Nittany Health – Bellefonte location. Kugler previously worked as a registered nurse in the emergency department and critical care unit at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
“I look forward to building long-term relationships with my patients, based on open communication and trust,” says Kugler. “I believe in becoming a patient’s partner in the healthcare journey, working with each person to provide the best possible care for them as an individual.”
Kugler earned her bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from The Pennsylvania State University, and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Penn State Altoona in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Kugler earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a certificate in gerontology from the Penn State College of Nursing.
Kugler served four years in the United States Air Force as a Senior Airman and aerospace ground equipment mechanic. During her service in Baghdad, Iraq, she was awarded an achievement coin for excellent workmanship from the Chief Mater Sergeant of the Air Force. Kugler was also presented with a medal for excellent service from the commander of Osan Air Base, Korea.
Outside of the office, Kugler enjoys traveling and painting with acrylics, as well as, spending time outdoors camping and biking. She especially enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Christopher, and their two border collies.
