The Ice Shack is once again open for another year. Lines were long and business was hopping on opening day, Tuesday, March 4.

MILL HALL — Ice Shack is officially open for the season and all of your sweet treat needs!

The popular ice cream venue opened its doors for the 2025 season on March 4 and welcomed an excited crowd eager for a sweet treat.

The shop has different ice cream flavors available at all times, but switches up their featured ice cream and soup every week. For opening week their featured ice cream flavor was black raspberry, and their soup of the week is Zuppa Toscana.

For 18 years, Ice Shack, located at 104 N. Water St. in Mill Hall, has been a staple in the community, offering everything from soups, sandwiches and pretzels to their signature Shack Storm and more.

Ice Shack works strictly off of volunteers, with the proceeds benefiting the Bald Eagle Boys Camp in Mill Hall.

Ice Shack is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is closed on Monday and Sunday. For more information on them, visit their Facebook @IceShack or give them a call at (570) 726-4186.
