Residents can safely dispose of unused prescription drugs

LOCK HAVEN — Clinton County’s Prescription Drug Take Back Week will be held from Oct. 22 through Oct. 26 in recognition of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Local residents can safely dispose of unused prescription and over-the-counter medications in a Med Return box at the following locations in the county.

– Lock Haven City Hall, 20 E. Church St., Lock Haven.

– Lock Haven Garden Building, 232 E. Main St., Lock Haven.

– Renovo Magisterial Office, 112 Ninth St., Renovo.

– Pine Creek Township Building, 31 Municipal Drive, Lock Haven.

Accepted medications include prescription and over-the-counter solid medications tablets and capsules, liquid medications, inhalers, screams, ointments, nasal sprays and pet medicines.

Not accepted are intravenous solutions, injectables and needles. For questions, contact the clinton County District Attorney’s Office at 570-893-4141.
