Keystone Central School Board to reorganize tonight

MILL HALL — The Keystone Central School District will hold a re-organizational meeting, followed by a regular meeting at 6 p.m. today at the Central Mountain High School Library.

The first meeting will be the re-organizational meeting. During that time, there will an appointment of a temporary president to conduct elections for the offices of board president and vice-president for the year commencing Dec. 1, 2018 and ending at the board re-organization meeting in 2019.

There will also be appointments made for Keystone Central Board of School Directors for the Keystone Central Career Technical Center, the PSBA liaison, the PSBA Employee Relations contact, the NSBA representative and the Representative to the Central Intermediate Unit No. 10 Board of Directors.

On the regular agenda, there will an announcement of the Teacher of the Year presented by Angela Harding and the Keystone Central School District Foundation. The name of the individual receiving the award has not been released.

There are 34 policies on the docket that will be up for approval.

The board will also look to approve the board meeting schedule for 2019.
