Blake Harman is Lions Club Citizen of Month for May
JERSEY SHORE — The Jersey Shore Lions Club Citizen of the Month for May is Blake Aaron Harman son of Shane and Melissa Harman of Jersey Shore.
Blake’s activities include Model UN, Constitutional Convention, Choir, one year; Democrats Club, National Art Honor Society and Color Guard, two years, and Spectrum Club, Jazz Band, Concert Band and Marching Band, four years.
Blake is a dedicated leader who is involved in numerous clubs and activities at the high school. He served as president of Spectrum Club and Band. He was vice president of band in the 2017-2018 school year and the treasurer of National Art Honor Society in the 2018-2019 school year.
Blake won the John Phillip Sousa Award in 2018 and lettered in marching band. Additionally, he is a regular member of the distinguished honor roll. Outside school, Blake works part-time at Jiffy Market. He also does canvassing for political figures like Mike Hanna.
Blake enjoys photography, music, art, and thrifting. He plans to attend Temple University to major in photography with a minor in entrepreneurial studies.
