Murder suspect still on the loose

LAMAR — Timothy Neff remained at large as off press time Monday night, according to state police at Lamar.

Neff, who is accused of stabbing his sister-in-law to death on Friday evening, has been the object of a search since he fled the area following the attack at the home near Rote where Timothy, his brother William and William’s wife, Agnes lived.

An arrest warrant was issued, charging Timothy Neff with first degree murder, criminal homicide, aggravated assault and simple assault.

Timothy was driving his 2018 Cayenne red Nissan pickup truck with Pennsylvania registration ZLD5896 when he left the residence.

Police said it is not known if he has access to any weapons and said anyone who encounters him should be cautious.

He is described as a white male, five feet 10 inches tall with hazel eyes and gray hair.

Police said they have been getting calls and following up on all of them, but have no leads at this time.

Anyone with information about Timothy Neff’s location or who has seen him or a truck matching the description given is asked to contact police at 570-726-6000.
