Sunday concert moved to Riverview Park

Rockey Allen Band performing at 6:30 p.m.

From Staff Reports

LOCK HAVEN — Due to high river levels, the Lock Haven City Summer Concert Series performance scheduled for this Sunday will be moved to Riverview Park in Woodward Township.

According to The National Weather Service, the Susquehanna River would crest to 15.8 feet last night, making the floating stage at the Coreman Amphitheatre unsafe.

Woodward Township offered the use of the Riverview Park stage last week in the event of unsafe conditions at the floating stage, Community Life Director Kasey Campbell said.

The Rocky Allen Band will perform at the park from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating.
