There are two big events happening today in Lock Haven. At 10 a.m. the Rally for Recovery begins with the first ever Scenic Road Race 5K, for runners and walkers leaving from the Piper Building and ending 3.1 miles later at the Castanea Picnic Grounds where there will be food, games and vendors. And, beginning at 11 a.m., downtown Lock Haven will be filled with music as the day-long LH JAMS music festival gets underway. Both events are free, so get out and enjoy them.
Highland Cemetery fundraiser
The Lock Haven Paranormal Seekers are holding a fundraiser for Highland Cemetery. On Sept. 7 at 7 p.m., they will conduct a class and investigation in the cemetery. School retirees plan picnic
The Clinton County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR) invites all school retirees and guests to a picnic on Wednesday, August 28 at noon (come at 11a.m. to socialize) at the Grove Community Park in Flemington to celebrate The First Day Of School.. School Retirees should bring a covered dish to share, and their own place settings and beverages. PASR will provide table covers, napkins, hot dogs, buns and condiments.
