LOCK HAVEN — The Lock Haven Catholic School is gearing up for another great school year.

Teachers attended in-service days this week and students will be back to school on Thursday, August 22.

And the students will be returning to some exciting new changes at the school this year.

The middle school has added a language arts (ELA) teacher, Mrs. Rebecca Walton. Mrs. Walton is looking forward to working with middle school students and helping to expand diversity in curriculum.

Students will be surprised to see a new concrete pad that has been installed in the playground.

The 30-by 40-foot pad will allow students to still get outside even if the grass is wet from rain or snow.

Technology teacher, Mrs. Donna Shank, and team have been working very hard all summer to restructure the school’s network to boost WiFi and create even more securities for the use of internet in the school.

Lock Haven Catholic School will be hosting its third annual Drive-In on Thursday, August 29, at the school from 5 to 8 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to come enjoy a great meal at a great price!

The event will be rain or shine.
