Members of the community took part in the 7th Annual 9/11 Moving Tribute on Wednesday to honor those who were lost in the devastating terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The event began at 5:45 a.m., the time the hijackers made it through security on Sept. 11 and continued until 8:30 p.m., when President George W. Bush addressed the nation. Over the course of the day many people kept the flags moving through the community in remembrance of 9/11. Above, from left, are Eleanor Hanna, in back, Joan Welfling, Logan Hanna, Sadie Hanna, Sue Welfling and Katie Hanna carrying the large flag as well as many others during their walk along Main Street in downtown Lock Haven.
