–Great Island Presbyterian Church has canceled services in the church; Pastor Taylor Camerer’s message will be aired on Sunday mornings at 8:45 a.m. on WBPZ 1230 AM radio each week until further notice.
— House of the Lord Fellowship Church canceled all services and events until further notice. Online services are available through social media accounts.
–Liberty Baptist Church of Blanchard canceled the Ladies Sacrificial Breakfast and Cross Walk events scheduled for Good Friday, April 10. The church is gathering weekly by live streaming to our website: www.lbcblanchard.com or Facebook at www.Facebook.com/lbcblanchard. Those without computers can call in to our telephone conference system from their telephone by dialing (425) 585-7517. — The Sugar Valley Lions Club has canceled children’s Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt on April 11, member dinner meeting on April 13, Senior Citizens Easter Dinner on April 18.
— TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Monday meetings are canceled until further notice.
— The Mill Hall Kiwanis Club has postponed their annual Easter Egg Hunt. They will be rescheduling the event to a later date.
— The UPMC Lock Haven Hospital’s IN The Bag Purse sale scheduled for April 17 canceled.
— Camp Cadet program that was to be held at the Lock Haven University Sieg Conference Center in June and the Golf Outing that was to be held on July 18 at the Clinton County Club have been canceled.
— The Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event, scheduled for April 24 and 25, has been postponed. No-reschedule date has been announced.
— The April 7 meeting of the Central PA Civil War Round Table canceled.
— The Animal Medical Center of Nittany Valley has canceled all elective surgeries, routine examinations, and other simple procedures. The practice will remain open for urgent care Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.to noon. Any patient requiring attention due to illness, pain or trauma may be seen during that time.
–The Centre Furnace Mansion is closed for tours and all programming and on-site volunteer activities until it is safe to resume. The Plant Celebration originally scheduled for May 3 has been cancelled. We will update with any rescheduling plans.
–The Clinton County Historical Society office is closed.
— The Wine in the Wilds wine tasting festival rescheduled from April 25 to July 11, at the Clinton County Fairgrounds. Visit their brand new website, www.wineinthewilds.com, for details!
— The Hyner View Trail Challenge is rescheduled from April 18 to August 29.
— The two-day Upper Pine Creek Trout Tournament sponsored by the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon Snowmobile Club, canceled.
— The Lock Haven Christian Women’s Club, which meets at The Flemington Church of Christ on Fairpoint Road has canceled its April luncheon. The regular schedule for the group will resume when the social distancing restriction is lifted.
— The Southern Clinton County Sportsmen’s Club’s ranges are temporarily closed. Additionally, the clay shoot, scheduled for Saturday, April 25, has been canceled.
— The Pennsylvania Happy Travelers meeting scheduled for April 9 is canceled. The next meeting will be held on May 14, unless social distancing guidelines are still in effect.
— The April meeting of the UPMC Lock Haven Hospital has been canceled. There will be no meetings until further notice.
— LHHS and ICHS Classes of 1953 class dinner canceled for April 7.
— LHHS Class of 1956 luncheon is canceled for April 6. The next one is planned for May 4.
— LHHS and ICHS Classes of 1951 monthly dinner is canceled for April 7.
— LHHS Class of 1952 gatherings canceled until further notice.
— BEN Class of 1966 class dinners for April and May have been canceled for the safety of our classmates and others.
