Clinton County commissioners comment
LOCK HAVEN — Clinton County commissioners Jeff Snyder and Angela Harding took a few minutes during Thursday’s commissioners meeting to express their feelings on the bill.
“We should send a letter to the governor’s office if he vetos it and and tell him that they need to take care of it. They need to get back to Harrisburg and make things happen to get people back to work… for the people who are suffering out there,” said Snyder.
Commissioner Angela Harding said, “I’m terrified for our economy. I’m terrified for our community. I’m cognizant of COVID-19 and its spread and continue to monitor reopening of businesses while protecting people. There’s not enough known about the virus. We’re holding steady at eight here. But we need to be cautious and make sure we are opening businesses methodically while still protecting as many people as we can,” Harding said.
“I agree,” Snyder said.
Commissioner Miles Kessinger did not comment.
