PennDOT extends expiration dates, again, for driver licenses, ID cards, learner’s permit

Expiration dates for driver licenses, identification cards, and learner’s permits will be extended for Pennsylvania residents until June 30, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced today.

The expiration date for driver licenses, photo ID cards and learners permits that had been scheduled to expire on March 16 or later had previously been extended through May 31, and now have been extended for another month due to COVID-19 mitigation efforts.

All state driver license centers and photo license Centers and the Harrisburg Riverfront Office Center have been closed since March 16, and remain closed until further notice.
