Lock Haven prepares for the Christmas season

Anyone traveling along Main Street in downtown Lock Haven on Friday morning may have witnessed city crews making preparations for the upcoming Christmas season. A large spruce tree, donated by the Clinton Country Club, was easily placed into the ground in Triangle Park next to the gazebo by three public works members. City Public Works Director Anthony “Tony” Stopper offered thanks to Ron Bickle, Dan Klingerman and the staff at the Country Club on behalf of the city for allowing employees to come and remove the tree. Keep an eye out in the coming weeks as public works employees begin to decorate the tree with twinkling lights in preparation for Downtown Lock Haven Inc.’s annual treelighting.
