Loganton man charged with sexual assault of minor

LOGANTON — A Loganton man is accused of sexually assaulting a minor more than a dozen times.
Gideon L. Miller, 31, of 832 Mill St., is charged with 14 counts of aggravated indecent assault, 14 counts of indecent assault of persons less than 13 years of age and 14 counts of corruption of minors.
The felony charges were filed by state police at Lamar on Feb. 27.
Miller was arraigned by District Judge Frank Mills, who set bail at $50,000.
Unable to post bail at that time, Miller was committed to the Clinton County Correctional Facility. He has since posted bail and been released from jail.
State police said the crimes are alleged to have all occurred at Miller’s residence in Greene Township, Clinton County.
According to the criminal complaint, the defendant admitted to inappropriate touching of the girl for his own sexual arrousal.
