16 performers scheduled during Summer Concert Series

LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Council announced the line up for the 2021 City of Lock Haven Summer Concert Series.

There would be 16 total bands performing–10 on Friday and 6 on Saturday.

Director of Community Life Kasey Campbell noted that the concerts formerly held on the floating stage on Sunday nights have been moved to Saturdays at the J. Doyle Corman Amphitheater.

This year, Campbell said the floating stage concerts will be on Saturday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. with feature artists such as Aaron Kelly, York Street Hustle and Into the Spin.

The Friday concerts will be split between two locations.

During evenings when Main Street is closed for the Pedestrian Mall, performances will take place on the Grove Street Stage. They include The Lindy Sisters, Bellefonte Community Band and Flashback.

On Fridays when Main Street remains open, concerts will take place at Triangle Park. They include Cadillac Cats, Little German Band and Speed Bump Willy among others.

A full list of performers is listed below:

GROVE STREET STAGE

— The Lindy Sisters will perform on June 25.

— Bellefonte Community Band will perform on July 9.

— The Sultans, a jazz/variety band, will perform on July 30.

— The Hex Highway Blues Band will perform on Aug. 13 as part of the annual LH Jams Festival.

— Classic rock band Flashback will perform on Aug. 27.

TRIANGLE PARK

— Blues band Cadillac Cats will perform on July 2.

— Easy rock group Mike + Cass will perform on July 16.

— Robert Richardson will perform on July 23.

— Little German Band will perform on Aug. 6.

— Speed Bump Willy will perform on Aug. 20.

FLOATING STAGE

— Aaron Kelly will kick off the floating stage concerts on June 26.

— Into the Spin will perform on July 10.

— A band has yet to be determined for July 24.

— Frank Wicher Band will perform on Aug. 7.

— York Street Hustle will perform on Aug. 14 as part of the annual LH Jams Festival.

— Willie Nile will closeout the floating stage on Aug. 21.

All members of council were present for Monday night’s meeting held via livestream.
