Lock Haven University and Keystone Central School District once again combined to put on a memorable homecoming parade Thursday night. Hundreds of people, both young and old, lined the streets long before the first float began its journey up Main Street in downtown Lock Haven. Both school systems brought their A-game. From highlighting their sports teams, alumni and grade levels to bringing their best tunes via their marching bands or perfect moves from their cheerleaders, majorettes and colorguard. And, of course, they brought along bags and bags of candy to throw to eager youngsters and their parents too. At the conclusion of the parade, LHU participants returned to campus to participate in the 10th annual Golf Cart Parade and Lawn Party. The theme for the Golf Cart Parade was “The In and Out of this World.” Meanwhile KCSD held a pep rally for parents and students.
