MACKEYVILLE — Nearly 100 local kids put the pedal to the medal, so to speak, at the 49th Annual Clinton County Fair.

Little ones from age three to 10 all tested their strength during the annual Pedal Power Tractor Pulls on Thursday night.

The annual event is split into age groups and is co-chaired by Pat Steinbacher and Brock Plotts. Steinbacher could be seen right next to the kids, guiding them. And the 2022 Clinton County Fair Queen, Bryley Miller, offered her support to the little ones as they went.

The popular event, sponsored by the Lock Haven Moose Lodge, saw about 85 kids participate.

Each winner was given a trophy and ribbon to show off to their loved ones.

The Clinton County Fair will end tonight, but there’s still much left to do. Check out today’s Sunrise. on C1, which features more photos from the fair and today’s listing of events.

They include volunteers from the Clinton County Fire Police, Goodwill Hose and Dunnstown fire companies who are on site 24/7 for nine days, under the direction of the fair board.
