Commissioner open bids for security
LOCK HAVEN — This week’s Clinton County Commissioners meeting was short and sweet, covering a multitude of items.
First and foremost, the commissioners opened bids for security guard services.
One bid was received from VetForce, Inc. of Lock Haven in the amount of $62,400 for 52 weeks. It was unanimously voted to forward the bid to the solicitor for review and be brought back to the table in two weeks.
The commissioners also opened bids for the repository.
They received one bid for parcel number CT010127-000T23B that was accompanied by a Western Union check for $357. It was unanimously voted to be forwarded to the solicitor for review and then brought back to the table in two weeks.
They also considered approval for:
— The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Fiscal Year 2024 State Homeland Security Grant Program Agreement with PEMA and the Northcentral Task Force with a performance period of Sept. 1, 2024 to Aug. 31, 2027, for a total grant amount of $459,736.
— An agreement between Clinton County and CDR Maguire for the project alignment for Phase 3 of the Bald Eagle Valley Trail.
— The transfer of IV-D Funds from the IV-D checking account to the General Fund in the amount of $26,595 for reimbursement of Nov. 2024 expenses.
— The appointment of Terry Condo to the Clinton County Planning Commission for a four year term expiring Dec. 31, 2028.
— The County Bills in the amount of $1,055,801.15 for the 2-week-period ending Feb. 13, and net payroll in the amount of $344,939.41 for the two-week period ending Feb. 14.
