Jersey Shore Elementary School has a new addition to its community garden with the recent installation of a produce stand. The stand was created in a collaborative effort between the high school’s Key Club, its Career and Technical Education students, life skills classes and the elementary school’s PTO. The Key Club dedicated the stand to the school’s life skills classes and incorporated their handprints into the design. The unveiling featured music, dancing and garden activities as well. “The Key Club’s motto (is) ‘Positive Actions, Make Positive Reactions.’ The smiles revealed they achieved their goal. We are so thankful for our partnership with the high school, the support of Mr. Wall, our Director of Maintenance and for the support of the JSE PTO,” the elementary school recently shared on social media.
