Environmental programs at Little Pine State Park

WATERVILLE — For the weekend of June 14 – 16, the environmental programs at Little Pine State Park will focus on a variety of topics.

Friday evening at 8 they will have their weekly coffee break. This is an informal question and answer period and general chat session. Coffee, tea, and iced tea will be provided, but please bring your own cup. This will be followed at 9 p.m. by the movie “Pennsylvania’s Wild Garden.” Both programs will be at the amphitheater

There will be no programs on Saturday.

Sunday at 1 p.m. there will be a children’s DiscoverE program outside the beach house. This is intended for children ages 6 through 12, and will be about solar power.

The nature center, located in the lower floor of the office building, will be open Friday 3 to 6 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 5 p.m.
