r The Clinton County Voter Registration Office at the Garden Building at Main and Jay Streets offers the following updated statistics for the week ending Aug. 12, 2016:

Total registrations: 21,073, of which 8,859 are Democratic Party, 9,552 are Republican party, 113 are Libertarian party, and 2,549 are in other categories. There were 43 address changes, seven new applications and eight party changes. The new applications included five Republican Party, one Independent party and one registration with no affiliation.
