Theft from vehicle

LOCK HAVEN – A fire extinguisher was stolen from a parked pickup truck Monday at 209 E Church St., city police said.

The loss was estimated at $100.

Bad checks investigated

JERSEY SHORE – JT Hotshot of Jersey Shore made a payment to Speedy’s Store in Salladasburg, on an account that had insufficient funds, Tpr. Jonathan Thompson of the state police at Montoursville said.

Police said the check was for $1,966.23. The theft was reported July 7. The state police news release was dated Wednesday.

Theft from vehicle

HOWARD – A 12-pack of beer, military grade flashlight and phone charger were stolen from a vehicle Monday or Tuesday, Tpr. Andrew S. Mills of the state police at Rockview said.

Police said the theft occurred while the vehicle was parked in the victim’s driveway.
