LOCK HAVEN – City police investigated a two-vehicle accident at 12:36 p.m. Saturday on Bellefonte Avenue near South Highland Street.
Frank Mills Jr. of Beech Creek was driving a Ford pickup truck when he struck the rear of a car operated by Sarah Kitchen, police said. Mills was cited for following too closely.
Neither driver was injured and both vehicles had minor damage, police said.
LOCK HAVEN – Vehicles driven by David W. Shadle of Lock Haven and Debbie R. Coover of Lock Haven collided in the parking lot near the Shamrock Bar on Shamrock Street on Saturday evening, city police report.
Coover told police she was pulling into a parking spot next to Shadle’s vehicle when she sideswiped it. Damage was minor, police said.
CASTANEA – State police at Lamar are investigating the report of a theft and criminal mischief at 200 E. Keller St., Castanea, between Aug. 5 and Aug. 8.
Sarah A. Kitchen of Lock Haven told police kitchen cabinets were stolen and flooring was damaged at the residence.

Theft from truck
LOGANTON – Leonard G. Young Jr., 51, of Mill Hall, reported that a Samsung Galaxy phone and a 12-inch Kick Solo Sub-Woofer speaker was stolen from his 1996 Ford F-250 overnight Aug. 11 and Aug. 12 while the truck was parked in the storage area at Valley Collision, 91 W. Main St., Loganton.
State police at Lamar are investigating the theft and ask that anyone with information call police at 570-726-6000.
MILL HALL- A 47 year-old Mill Hall man is accused of driving while intoxicated at 11:35 p.m. Aug. 13 on Main Street, Mill Hall, according to state police at Lamar.
Police said the operator was observed committing multiple traffic violations and a subsequent investigation revealed he was driving under the influence. Charges are pending results of blood test, police said.
RENOVO – Walter J. Brumbaugh, 44, of Renovo, was transported to Lock Haven Hospital with minor injuries following a one-vehicle crash on Aug. 14 at 8 a.m., state police at Lamar report.
Police said Brumbaugh was driving a Suzuki motorcycle on the Renovo Road when the vehicle left the west side of the road and crashed on the berm of the southbound lane. Brumbaugh was wearing a helmet, police said.
MILL HALL – Tammy L. Watkins of Howard was taken to a local medical facility for possible injuries after she lost control of her 1996 Ford F-150 on Long Run Road, Lamar Township.
State police said Watkins was southbound when she failed to negotiate a turn and struck a traffic sign.
CASTANEA – The drivers involved in a two-vehicle crash at 5:08 p.m. Aug. 14 on Route 220 near Youngdale Road escaped injury, according to state police at Lamar.
Police said Levi Gearhart, 27, of Milton, was northbound on 220 in the right lane and Michael Robinett, 37, of Jersey Shore, was northbound in the left lane.
Police said Gearhart lost control and crossed over into the left lane striking the right rear of the Robinett vehicle. Gearhart’s Ford Ranger rotated clockwise while moving across the right lane, while Robinett’s Toyota Tundra rotated clockwise and traveled off the roadway, striking the guardrails.
The investigation continues and police are asking anyone with information to call 570-726-6000.
LOCK HAVEN – City police report the arrest of Mark Lucas, 40, of 162 Black St., Howard, for allegedly driving under the influence at 5 a.m. Aug. 4 in the city.
LOCK HAVEN – Debra Ann Schenck, 58, of 735 Bellefonte Ave., Lock Haven, was charged by city police with disorderly conduct at 6:49 p.m. Aug. 13 at 733 Bellefonte Ave.
Police said Schenck was cited after officers were dispatched to the scene on a report of a female dancing naked in the rain.
HOWARD – State police at Rockview report a Pine Grove Mills driver suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Aug. 12 at 2:22 p.m. on Eagle Valley Road in Liberty Township.
Harry E. Kennedy, 65, of Pine Grove Mills was flown by LifeFlight to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. The other driver. Nevin R. Hosterman, 56, of Howard, was not hurt, police said.
A 14-year-old passenger in Kennedy’s car was taken to Lock Haven Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
The accident occurred when Kennedy failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of North Eagle Valley Road and collided with Hosterman’s vehicle.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.
WILLIAMSPORT – The following motorists have been charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants or controlled substances in Lycoming County.
r Jeremy Andrew Higgins, 27, of 1309 Route 44 South, Jersey Shore, by state police at Montoursville on Route 220 in Piatt Township on July 26. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license and careless driving.
r Shawn M. Simco, 35, of Bellefonte by Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police following a crash at the Thomas Street interchange of Route 220 on June 21. He was also charged with reckless driving and criminal mischief.
r Phillip Lee Cline, 31, of 1774 West Line Road, Linden, by Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police following a crash in the 800 block of Canoe Run Road in Piatt Township on July 2. He was also charged with accidents involving damage to unattended property and careless driving.
r Marisol L. Bower, 24, of Mill Hall, by Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police following a crash in the 800 block of Route 287 in Piatt Township on June 4. He was also charged with reckless driving.
r Joshua Robert Breon, 23, of Centre Hall, by state police following a crash at Route 220 and Mountain View Road in Woodward Township on March 6. He was also charged with possession of five bags of heroin.
WILLIAMSPORT – Justin Michael Hummel, 21, of Lock Haven, was charged by Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police with possession of 30 grams of marijuana, six bags of “molly” and 8 grams of mushrooms in the 14000 block of Route 220 in Porter Township on June 13. He was sent a summons to appear before a district judge.
JERSEY SHORE – Lawrence E. Keisner Jr., 31, of 163 Main St., Antes Fort, was charged by Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police with indecent assault and harassment for allegedly having inappropriate contact with a female minor in the 500 block of Allegheny Street on July 14. He was sent a summons to appear before a district judge.
