Vandalism on levee Riverwalk

LOCK HAVEN – The abbreviation “LHK” – supposedly meaning “Lock Haven Killers” – was spray-painted on a bench atop the levee Riverwalk on Saturday, city police said. Information in The Express’ police report Tuesday was incorrect.

Police said they are investigating the criminal mischief that also included the spray painting of a light pole, the walkway and a trash can, causing an estimated $300 damage.

A group of PokemonGo enthusiasts cleaned up the damage this week.

Possession charge

BELLEFONTE – Stephon Brooks, 26, of Lewistown was charged with possession of synthetic marijuana July 17, state police at Rockview said in a press release dated Tuesday.

Police said the confiscated items in his vehicle suggested that Brooks intended to sell a controlled substance.

Stolen truck

DUNNSTOWN – Woodward Township police were investigating the report of a stolen truck Monday at 18 Brewery Hollow Road.

Police described the vehicle as a 1994 green and silver Chevrolet Silverado with a handicapped registration plate. The vehicle was noticed missing Friday.

Tires slashed

LOCK HAVEN – Four tires were slashed on a construction trailer over the weekend, while the equipment was parked at a work site in the area of South Allegheny Street, Woodward Township police said.

Damage was estimated at $300, police said.
