Motorcyclist killed in crash

BELLEFONTE – Jeremy L. Stover, 44, of Rebersburg, was killed when his motorcycle and a car collided on Brush Valley Road in Gregg Township at 4:50 p.m. Thursday, according to state police at Rockview.

Police said a vehicle operated by Harriet Y. Wolfe, 77, of Spring Mills, pulled into the motorcyclist’s lane of travel and impacted the motorcycle.

Stover was thrown from the cycle and pronounced dead at the scene by Centre County Deputy Coroner Todd Shook.

DUI alleged

LINDEN – Jeremy Michael Ball, 40, of 118 Harvest Moon Park, was stopped by state police from Montoursville in the 100 block of Chadlee Drive in Armstrong Township on July 11 and has been charged with driving under the influence.

DUI charged

AVIS – Deshane A. Lucas, 48, of Avis, has been charged with driving under the influence by state police at Montoursville after he was stopped at West Fourth Street and Daugherty’s Run Road in Williamsport on May 28. He was also charged with speeding and careless driving.

Tool stolen

LOCK HAVEN – City police are investigating the reported theft of tools valued at $200 from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of South Hampton Street overnight Sept. 22-23. Police said the tools included a drill, saw and radio.

Minor damage

LOCK HAVEN – There was minor damage to two vehicles in an accident at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday on Grove Street, near Vesper Street, city police said.

Police said Clyde F. Wertz of Lock Haven was attempting to park his car when he sideswiped a parked car owned by Helen L. Honetor of Mill Hall.
