Public drunkenness

LOCK HAVEN — Robert Lee Reeder, of 636 W. Water St., Lock Haven, was cited by Lock Haven police for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct Saturday.

According to police, Reeder, while intoxicated, made statements at Uncle Albert’s on North Vesper Street that caused public alarm. Reeder stated later that he made those statements only because he was intoxicated, police said. After being found in the Domino’s parking lot, Reeder could barely stand and almost fell onto the ground several times, according to police.

Drug paraphernalia

LOCK HAVEN — Floyd Bowmaster, 28, of 220 W. Clinton St., Lock Haven, was arrested Saturday around 5:30 p.m. for possession of drug paraphernalia after being taken into custody on a warrant for different charges, according to Lock Haven police.

Last month, on Dec. 25 around 11 a.m., Bowmaster was arrested and jailed on $20,000 bail for threatening a victim with a knife, police said.

One-vehicle crash

OVAL — Dennis E. Haines III, 34, of Jersey Shore, was traveling north on State Route 44 on Saturday, Jan. 7, around 10 p.m. when his vehicle crossed the double yellow lines and struck the embankment on the south side of the road, causing his car to roll onto its roof, according to state police at Montoursville. Haines was not injured, police said.

Stop sign hit

LOCK HAVEN — Omar Luis Delossantos of Birmingham, Ala., drove a tractor trailer over the sidewalk at the intersection of South Jones and Shamrock Street, knocking down a stop sign, according to police. Delossantos will be cited for driving over the sidewalk, police said.

Two-car collision

LOCK HAVEN — Two drivers, Joshua Bradley and Wanda Nelson, both of Lock Haven, were cited for traffic violations after their cars collided at the corner of East Main and Jay streets Friday around 5 p.m.

Bradley told police that Nelson cut him off when she attempted to turn left onto Jay Street from the right hand lane of East Main Street and he could not stop in time to avoid striking her car.

Neither driver was injured, police said, but Nelson was cited for improper position and method of turning as well as operating a vehicle with a learner’s permit unaccompanied by a licensed driver, and Bradley was cited for operating a vehicle without an official certificate of inspection or insurance.
