Alleged harassment

BELLEFONTE — A 49-year-old mother of Blanchard has been accused of striking her 29-year-old daughter across the face on Jan. 20 at about 8 p.m., state police at Rockview said.

The incident occurred during a child custody exchange on Clover Lane in Liberty Twp., police said.

One vehicle accident

BELLEFONTE — A one vehicle accident that occurred on Jan. 13 at about 7 p.m. resulted in the driver being transported by Bellefonte EMS for suspected minor injuries, state police at Rockview said.

Kenneth E. Stephens, 79, of Tyrone, was travelling west on Interstate 80 when he got off the highway at exit 161, police said.

Stephens was negotiating a curve when his vehicle travelled across the median and entered the entrance ramp before striking a guard rail, police said.

Bellefonte EMS transported Stephens to Mount Nittany Medical Center for suspected minor injuries after the crash, police said.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Rich’s Amoco Towing and Stephens was issued a citation for driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said.

Retail theft

SPRING MILLS — A Selinsgrove man is accused of retail theft after an incident that occurred on Oct. 7, 2017 at about 1 p.m., state police at Rockview said.

Earl Adams, 27, is accused of stealing from Weaver’s Store, 108 Market Dr., Spring Mills, Centre County, police said.

After receiving a complaint of theft on Oct. 9, 2017, state police investigated and caught Adams on surveillance cameras stealing boots, police said.

Stolen vehicle

SPRING MILLS — A Texas man has been accused of operating a stolen vehicle, state police at Rockview said.

Robert Moser, 45, has been charged after the license plate number on his vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen in the parking lot of Weaver’s Store in Spring Mills, police said.

The incident occurred on Jan. 18 and charges have been filed through district judge Jordan’s office, police said.
