Woman accused of

child endangerment

LOCK HAVEN — Kristen A. Probst, 28, of 111 Junction House Road, has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and will be sent a summons after she left a young child unattended in a motor vehicle in the 10 block of Bellefonte Avenue on March 16, city police said.

DUI alleged in crash

BLANCHARD — A Blanchard man has been charged with driving under the influence following a two-vehicle accident at 8 p.m. March 18, on Route 150 in Liberty Township, Centre County, according to state police at Rockview.

Police said Todd Losch, 32, of Blanchard was driving a 2006 Ford Escape and attempting to pass a 2009 Ford F250 pickup truck operated by Audrey L. Kellander, 70, of Beech Creek, in a no-passing zone when his vehicle struck the Kellander pickup truck. After hitting the truck, Losch continued off the west berm and struck several small trees, coming to rest facing south, police said.

Neither driver or a passenger in the Kellander vehicle, Robert A. Kellander Jr., 67, of Beech Creek, was injured, police said.

Drug possession alleged

LOCK HAVEN — Allen W. Dauber, 36, of 1 N. Fairview St., Lock Haven, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, according to Lock Haven City Police.

Police said Dauber was charged at 5:35 p.m. on March 13 at his home.

Dauber was in possession of two vials of prescription steroids and didn’t have a prescription, police said. He was taken to the Clinton County Correctional Facility by county probation officers for probation violations, police said.

Windows broken

LOCK HAVEN — City police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief in which two windows were smashed out by someone throwing a concrete paver through them.

The incident occurred between 5 and 7:30 a.m. on March 16 at a home in the 300 block of North Henderson Street, police said. Damage was estimated at between $500 and $1,000, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call city police.

Door damaged

LOCK HAVEN — City police are investigating a report that the back door of the residence at 4 N. Henderson St. was damaged overnight between March 14 and 15.

Mirror broken

LOCK HAVEN — Philip Rinella, 58, of Lock Haven, reported to city police at he was traveling east on East Church Street near the Salvation Army at 9:20 a.m. March 14 and the driver’s side mirror of his truck struck something.

Rinella said he circled the block to find out what he had hit but was unable to locate anything. He wanted to notify police in case someone reported their vehicle had been hit in that area. Police said the mirror was cracked on Rinella’s vehicle. While doing the accident report, police found the registration for Rinella’s 2006 Jeep Compass had expired.
