Possession of drug

paraphernalia

HOWARD — Patricia Lyn Snare, 37, of Howard, was placed under arrest for the possession of drug paraphernalia, state police at Rockview said.

The incident occurred on March 7 at 2:50 p.m. at 110 Black Walnut St., Walker Twp., Centre County, police said.

Illegal sale or transfer

BELLEFONTE — During an investigation into a reported stolen handgun, state police at Rockview discovered that the handgun had been sold several months prior.

This incident occurred on Dec. 15, 2017 and it was found that the proper procedures had not been followed or attempted before the handgun was surrendered to the buyer, police said.

Vehicle strikes tree

JERSEY SHORE — On the evening of March 16, Timothy D. Stroud, 49, of Jersey Shore, had been traveling south on English Run Road, Pine Twp., Lycoming County, when his 2014 Ford Escape hit a patch of ice and crashed into a tree on the west side of the road, state police at Montoursville said.

The vehicle rolled on its roof and came to final rest on the east side of the road, police said.

Stroud was not injured as a result of the crash, police said.

Police were not made aware of the accident until the following morning of March 17 and Stroud was cited for immediate notice of accident to a police department, police said.

Handgun stolen

BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview are investigating the theft of a handgun between Jan. 15 and March 6.

The theft occurred at an unknown location by unknown suspect(s) who stole the handgun from the victim’s, whose name was withheld, vehicle, police said.

One vehicle accident

BELLEFONTE — A one vehicle crash occurred on Feb. 25 at 5:49 p.m. on Coburn Road, Penn Twp., Centre County, state police at Rockview said.

Diana S. Mountain, 50, of Coburn, Pa., was traveling straight on Coburn Road when for unknown reasons she left the west side of the roadway, police said.

Mountain’s 2015 Other 2500 struck a PennDOT 40 miles per hour sign, a small embankment, a large pine tree and another embankment before coming to final rest in a ditch, police said.

Mountain reported that she was uninjured and had been wearing her seatbelt during the crash. Her vehicle was towed from the scene by Kuppel’s Towing, police said.

Police were assisted on the scene by Millheim Fire Department and Penns Valley EMS.

Harassment alleged

LOCK HAVEN — Woodward Twp. police are investigating multiple incidents of harassment.

The incidents occurred on March 16 on Church Street where the complainants reported they were being harassed by individuals known to them, police said.
