REBERSBURG — The driver and passenger of a horse drawn buggy were transported to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville for serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Nov. 11, 2018 at 11:34 p.m. along Rebersburg Mountain Road, Miles Township, Centre County, state police at Rockview said.

Christopher Fisher, 19, of Rebersburg, was driving the buggy when an unknown vehicle attempted to pass him on the roadway, police said.

After being struck by the vehicle, the horse ran up an embankment, causing the buggy to overturn, police said.

Both Fisher and his passenger, a 17-year-old Rebersburg woman sustained serious injuries, police said.
