School bus, car involved

in crash

LOCK HAVEN — A school bus and a car were involved in a two-vehicle accident on Feb. 21 along Bellefonte Avenue in Lock Haven.

A school bus driven by Vickie Robinson turned into the center turn lane on Bellefonte Avenue to make a wide right turn onto Frederick Street and collided with a 2012 Ford Fusion being driven by Evan Croak, according to Lock Haven City Police. Robinson said that she did use her turn signal and showed the responding officer that her signal was still flashing at the time of the crash. The bus sustained moderate damage, but was still driveable. No injuries were reported.

Tractor trailer driver cited

LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Police were called to the scene of a one-vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer on Feb. 19 at the intersection of Shamrock Street and South Jones Street in Lock Haven.

According to police, the tractor trailer left state Route 220 en route to First Quality when it hopped the curb and hit a stop sign. The driver, Eric Davidson, 36, of Homewood, Ala., told police that he didn’t realize that tractor trailers were not allowed on South Fairview Street. He told police that his company has a policy that drivers cannot stray from GPS directions. Davidson was cited for failing to obey a traffic control device.

The incident took place at 8:45 a.m. The scene was cleared by 9:18 a.m.
