Fire rips through home in Allison Township

LOCK HAVEN — Multiple fire departments responded to a house fire at 963 Glenn Rd., Allison Township Saturday morning.

Fire official said fire and smoke was pouring from the home when they arrived at approximately 10 a.m.

No one was home at the time but fire crews believe the family’s cat was inside and did not make it.

The fire was extinguished by 1 p.m., according to the Clinton County Communications Center.

Lock Haven, Mill Hall, Woolrich, Dunnstown, Beech Creek-Blanchard, Flemington Goodwill Hose, Castanea, Avis and Larry’s Creek fire departments and Lock Haven EMS responded to the scene.

A fire marshal was called in to investigate the cause of the fire, official said.
