Two dead after
vehicle catches fire
WATERVILLE — State police at Montoursville are currently investigating a fatal vehicle crash that occurred on the 2800 Block of Little Pine Creek Road, Cummings Township, Lycoming County early Friday morning.
Two people, names pending family notification, were traveling along the roadway in a Ford F250 when the driver failed to negotiate a left turn and struck an embankment, police said.
The vehicle then caught fire, police said.
Both occupants were deceased when emergency vehicles responded to the scene, police said.

Woman high on bath salts
found naked along Interstate 80
LOGANTON — A Williamsport woman was arrested for indecent exposure and public intoxication after she was found wandering naked along Interstate 80 at about 2 a.m. on Monday, state police at Lamar said.
Marissa Floyd, 26, was found near mile marker 194, was taken into custody without incident and transported by ambulence to a local hospital for a knee injuring, police said.
Floyd later admitted being under the influence of bath salts and was later transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility, police said.
Minor injuries in
RENOVO — The driver of a 2007 Chrysler 200 received only minor injuries during a one vehicle crash along Renovo Road, Grugan Township, on July 20, state police at Lamar said.
Dylan Werts, 22, of Renovo, was travel eas long the roadway when his vehicle left the roadway and collided with a guiderail, police said.
The vehicle traveled back onto the roadway where it rolled over, crossing the entire roadway where it collided with an embankment, police said.
Werts fled the crash scene and was treated for his injuries at UPMC Lock Haven, police said.
Werts was charged with not immediately providing a notice of accident to a police department, police said.
Martin Motors assisted with the towing, police said.
Stolen dirt bike
MILL HALL — Two unidentified juveniles attempted to steal a 50cc Honda dirt bike from the front yard of Jenna Stoltzfus, 27, of Mill Hall, at 344 Furnace Road in Porter Township on July 25, according to state police at Lamar.
