Vehicle hits tree

JERSEY SHORE — Maxwell Mason, 21, of Jersey Shore suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 4:05 p.m. on Sept. 2 on Sulphur Run Road in Pine Creek Township, according to state police at Lamar.

Police said he was eastbound in the area of 2328 Sulphur Run Road when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree with the left front corner of the vehicle.

Mason, who was entrapped in the vehicle was extricated by Avis Fire company and was transported to Jersey Shore Hospital, police said.

Drug possession, DUI

MILL HALL — A 21-year-old Reedsville driver has been charged by state police at Lamar with drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence after he was pulled over for speeding on Hogan Boulevard at 3:01 a.m. August 25.

Police said multiple items of drug paraphernalia were located inside the driver’s 2019 Volkswagen Jetta and DUI charges were filed through the office of District Judge John Maggs.

Agricultural vandalism

LOCK HAVEN — Woodward Township police are investigating a report of agricultural vandalism which occurred on Sept. 11.

Police said unknown person(s) operated a motor vehicle, possibly an ATV into and through the standing corn on Cottage Lane farmlands. Police said about 300 feet of corn was damaged and estimated the loss at $130.
