Williamsport man arrested on DUI charge
MONTOURSVILLE — State Police at Montoursville arrested a Williamsport man along state Route 87 at 3:06 a.m. on Sept. 10.
According to police, a 23-year-old Williamsport man was traveling north on state Route 87 when he rear-ended a vehicle being driven by a 53-year-old Lock Haven man. The Williamsport man attempted to flee on foot, but was detained. He was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. Drug paraphernalia was found on a probable cause search.
Charges are pending in the crash.
State police investigate three-vehicle crash
STATE COLLEGE — State Police at Rockview are investigating a three-vehicle crash that took place near mile marker 73.7 in College Township, Centre County at 7:53 p.m. on Sept. 12.
Police say that a vehicle being driven by Eric Wennick of Bellefonte was attempting to merge into the center lane when lost control of his vehicle and struck another vehicle being driven by Michelle Vancho of Centre Hall. Wennick’s vehicle then struck a third vehicle, being driven by Kathleen O’Connell of Lemont.
No one was injured in the three-vehicle crash. Wennick’s and O’Connell’s vehicles had to be towed from the scene by Halfmoon and Tennis Towing, respectively.
State police investigate a case of criminal trespass
HOWARD — State Police at Rockview are investigating a case of criminal/simple trespass which took place at approximately 11 p.m. on Sept. 12.
According to police, someone entered the garage of a 32-year-old female and went through her items. She did not report anything missing.
The incident took place along Walnut Street in Howard Borough, Centre County.
Man arrested on
LOCK HAVEN — A Lock Haven man was arrested for multiple offenses on Sept. 15.
According to Lock Haven City Police, Kyle Grey, 29, of Lock Haven was arrested for punching a victim in the face multiple times. At the time of the assault, Grey was in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
The incident took place at 7:10 a.m. at 210 E. Water St. in Lock Haven.
Criminal mischief reported
LOCK HAVEN — A case of criminal mischief was reported to Lock Haven City Police.
Police say that sometime between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Sept. 14 and Sept. 15, someone cut three tires in the 200 block of W. Church St.
