Man charged with sexual assault

JERSEY SHORE — A Jersey Shore man is facing several sexual assault charges.

Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police report that Gary Probst, Jr., of Jersey Shore was charged with statutory sexual assault, sexual abuse of children, unlawful contact with a minor, and related offenses for allegedly exchanging inappropriate sexually-explicit photos with a Dauphin County female teenage minor in the middle of June.

Police say that Probst engaged in conversations with the minor that were sexual in nature and inappropriate.

He was jailed in lieu of $75,000.

Jersey Shore woman charged

JERSEY SHORE — The Tiadaghton Valley Police Department recently made a drug arrest.

According to police, Michelle Charlton, 52, of Jersey Shore was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance after eight large marijuana plants were discovered in her yard in Porter Township on Sept. 19. She was released on $25,000 bail.

Man charged with DUI

LOCK HAVEN — Michael Perkins, 40, of Lock Haven was charged with DUI and reckless driving along Interstate 80 on July 9. The incident took place near the Route 15 North on-ramp. He refused to provide a blood sample and was released on $3,500 bail, police said.
