Two charged with DUI
REBERSBURG — State Police at Rockview made a pair of arrests at the Miles Township Elementary School at 2:02 p.m. on June 3.
Police say that both Erich Burger, 36, of Coburn and Amber Burger, 31, of Rebersburg, were both arrested on DUI drug charges. A preliminary hearing was held on Oct. 16 for both parties.
Both hearings were waived to the Court of Common Pleas.
Police investigate harassment
PORT MATILDA — State Police at Rockview investigated a case of physical harassment at 3:31 p.m. on Oct. 2 along Shady Dell Road in Worth Township, Centre County.
Police say that a 57-year-old Port Matilda woman had to be removed from her home due to physical abuse. She was granted an emergency protection from abuse order and charges were filed against 68-year-old Dorie Adams. The charges were two counts of simple assault and one count of terroristic threats. A warrant was issued for Adams’ arrest.
Adams involuntarily appeared for arraignment and bail was set at $10,000.
Woman arrested for DUI
WALKER TOWNSHIP — State Police at Rockview made an arrest at 2:40 a..m. on Sept. 28 along Nittany Valley Drive in Walker Township, Centre County.
According to police, a traffic stop was conducted along Nittany Valley Drive near Elm Street. The driver of a 2014 Ford Fusion showed signs of impairment during field sobriety testing. Tiffany Barnard, 38, of Loganton, was transported to the Mount Nittany Medical Center for a legal blood draw. Charges are pending results.
