Woman steals big bird
JERSEY SHORE — A Jersey Shore woman has been charged with retail theft.
According to Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police, Vincentia Anna Fuller, 58, of Jersey Shore, stole a turkey valued at $48.08 from Lingle’s Market, 701 Alleghany St., on Nov. 22. According to court records, she has four previous theft convictions and was jailed on $3,500 bail.
Fuller was scheduled to appear in front of Judge Lepley today.
Deer causes crash
UNION TOWNSHIP — State Police at Rockview were called to the scene of a one-vehicle crash that took place along South Eagle Valley Road just east of Shadow Lane in Union Township, Centre County.
The crash took place at 9:18 p.m. on Nov. 19. According to police, a 2015 Toyota Sienna being driven by Jessica Jack, 33, of Port Matilda, was traveling southbound when a deer ran into the roadway. It struck the driver’s side, causing moderate damage. No injuries were reported in the crash.
Woman steals truck
JERSEY SHORE — A Jersey Shore woman was recently charged with stealing her roommate’s truck.
According to the Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police, Gina Ann Rhinehart, 39, of Jersey Shore was charged with theft by unlawful taking, unauthorized use of a vehicle and driving while license suspended for DUI.
Police say that Rhinehart stole her roommate’s truck and driving it on Nov. 23. She has been jailed on $15,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in front of Judge Lepley today.
