JS man threatened to kill couple
JERSEY SHORE — Donald Stewart, 62, of 311 Vilas Drive, was charged by Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police for allegedly threatening to kill two people.
Stewart was charged with terroristic threats, strangulations, simple assault and harassment, police said. Stewart was released on $10,000 bail.
Police said the incident occurred on Sept. 18, when Stewart threatened to kill Misti Koons and her boyfriend during a disturbance at the Vilas Drive address in Porter Township.
Stewart allegedly put his hands around Koons’ neck, police said.
JS woman charged with felony shoplifting
JERSEY SHORE – Vincentia Fuller, 58, of 368 Allegheny St., was charged with felony shoplifting for allegedly stealing $48 worth of merchandise from Lingle’s Family Market, 701 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore on Nov. 22, according to Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police.
Police said this was Fuller’s fifth arrest for shoplifting. She was released on $3,500 bail.
BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview arrested a 41-year-old Bellefonte woman on drug charges Dec. 8, at 12:56 p.m.
Police said the women was stopped for an identified individual having AOPC warrants on Willowbank Street at Homes Street in the borough. Through investigation, police said the operator was found to be in possesion of drugs and other related paraphernalia.
Icy road causes accident
BELLEFONTE — There were no injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Paradise Road in Benner Township, Centre County, at 2:48 p.m. Dec. 18, according to state police at Rockview.
Drivers were William S. Hoy, 48, of Bellefonte and Amy L. Hampton, 50, of Bellefonte, police said.
Both drivers were southbound on Paradise Road when Hampton hit ice and her 2008 Hummer began to slide and made impact with Hoy’s 2007 Ford F-150XLT, which was also sliding on the icy road, police said.
No injuries in crash
WILLIAMSPORT — A Jersey Shore driver was involved in a two-vehicle accident on Route 15 in Clinton County at 1:27 p.m. on Dec. 19, according to state police at Montoursville.
Police said Kelly J. Griffith, 52 of Jersey Shore was southbound prior to the intersection with Route 54 and a car driven by Neil A. Strausbaugh, 44, of Montgomery was stopped in the southbound lane of Route 15 at Route 54 intersection when Griffith’s 2005 Subaru Outback hit Stausbaugh’s 2011 Subaru Legacy.
Griffith was charged with driving at safe speed, police said. Neither driver was hurt, police said.
CENTRE HALL — Robert Mothersbaugh, 54, of Centre Hall, was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident at 9 a.m. Dec. 1, according to state police at Rockview.
Police said they responded to reports of domestic dogs entering a barn and killing one chicken and two domestic cats at Eu Joy Acres Lane in Gregg Township.
The victim is a 65-year-old Centre Hall woman, police said.
Charged were filed through the office of a district judge, police said.
